The annual Building Surveying and Inspecting Salary Survey is open until next Monday 16 March – have your say.

Planned Resources are pleased to once again bring you the annual Building Surveying and Inspecting Salary Survey. In line with previous years Planned Resources are working in conjunction with the Victorian Municipal Building Surveyors Group (VMBSG).

This year the survey has been extended further and includes working with the Building Surveying Inspectors Group (BSIG) to understand how salaries are changing within the private sector, and how this is affecting vacancy rates. The addition of the BSIG is an important step to understand where salaries sit across the whole sector.

We understand that beyond the basic salary questions, the public and private sector may want to understand specific details. To facilitate this, Planned Resources have created two slightly different surveys (one for public sector and one for private), where possible the questions have been kept consistent to provide a whole of industry answer, but also allowing a break down of results to provide data specific data on the public and private sectors.

The survey will be open for responses until Monday 16 March.
