Supporting Fire Safety and Compliance Across Victorian Councils & Shires – Through FPA Australia’s Affiliate Program

As the national peak body for fire protection, Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia) supports, informs, and connects industry to drive higher standards, stronger safeguards, and improved fire safety outcomes for the community.

Through our core services, including technical guidance, RTO training, FPAS accreditation, and advocacy on behalf of industry and community stakeholders, we play a key role in uplifting capability and supporting best practice across the built environment.

We recognise the critical role Victorian councils and shires play in maintaining community safety, overseeing fire safety compliance, and ensuring properties meet their regulatory obligations, to support improved fire safety outcomes.

To support this, FPA Australia’s Affiliate Program provides councils and shires with access to trusted technical expertise, industry guidance, and professional development opportunities, helping build internal capability, confidence, and informed decision-making.
