VMBSG memberships are now open for the 2026/2027 membership year.
A reminder to current members that memberships expire on 30 June, with the new membership year commencing on 1 July. To continue your membership with VMBSG for the new year, you will need to complete your renewal.
We also warmly invite new members to join VMBSG for the 2026/2027 membership year. Whether you are already working in the sector or are newer to the industry, VMBSG offers valuable opportunities to stay connected, access resources, and receive discounted rates for training and events.
Renewing your membership is important not only to maintain your connection with VMBSG, but also to ensure you continue to receive the benefits available to members throughout the year. Please note that access to member resources will expire at the conclusion of the current membership year. To continue accessing these resources, and to receive member discounts on VMBSG training and events, your membership will need to be renewed for 2026/2027.
When completing your renewal, you will need your membership number. If you are unsure of your number, please contact us and we will be happy to assist.
It is also important that members complete their own membership form, rather than delegating the task to someone else, as part of the process requires you to confirm your registration status.
As part of the renewal form, members are asked to provide two phone numbers and two email addresses. We strongly encourage members to ensure that one phone number and one email address are not work contact details.
In the building industry, people do move between roles and organisations, and if we only hold a single work email address or phone number, it can become difficult for us to stay in contact when employment changes. Your VMBSG membership remains yours for the entire membership year, regardless of whether your employer has paid the membership fee or you have paid it personally.
A personal email address is ideal as your secondary email. This secondary contact will only be used if your primary email is no longer reaching you.
Members can choose to pay by credit card or EFT/bank transfer. If paying by credit card, payment is made directly at the time of completing the membership form. Alternatively, members who prefer to pay by EFT/bank transfer can select that option on the form and an invoice will be issued.
Membership fees for 2026/2027 have increased slightly in line with CPI. As always, VMBSG offers a number of membership categories to help make joining and renewing affordable for a broad range of people working across our industry.
VMBSG also offers three levels of sponsorship category memberships for non-council entities, with valuable benefits in recognition of that support. Importantly, as a VMBSG Sponsor Member, staff are also able to register for VMBSG training and events at discounted member rates.
We look forward to welcoming both returning and new members for the 2026/2027 membership year.
