The Yarrawonga-Mulwala Golf Club Resort is situated on the banks of the Murray River just three hours from Melbourne and one hour from Albury airport.

Accommodation is very limited this year

VMBSG has reserved a limited number of rooms at the conference venue, including both shared and non-shared options. Please note that there is less accommodation available on-site this year than in previous years, and accommodation cannot be guaranteed for all delegates.

To help accommodate as many people as possible, we strongly encourage attendees to be open to sharing a room where suitable. We understand that shared accommodation may not be everyone’s first preference, however it will allow more delegates to stay on-site and take part in the full conference experience.

Please indicate on the booking form whether you are happy to share accommodation and, if so, who you will be sharing with. If you are attending with colleagues or other delegates you know, we encourage you to consider nominating a preferred person to share with.

Accommodation requests will be reviewed and allocated based on availability, room configuration and the overall number of requests received.

VMBSG has also arranged overflow accommodation with a nearby venue for delegates who are unable to be accommodated on-site. You may also wish to make your own arrangements at other local accommodation providers, including nearby motels, Airbnbs or other venues.

If you require accommodation, please complete the accommodation section of your booking form as early as possible so we can assess requirements and advise options.

Conference dinners

Conference dinners will be held on both Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm, providing an opportunity to network with other delegates. Booking for these dinners is essential and must be completed on the registration form. Conference dinners are included in the conference registration fee.

Several organisations will feature at the conference. If your organisation is interested in being involved, please contact VMBSG for details and sponsorship opportunities.

Registration

Conference registration is for both days of the conference and includes tea/coffee on arrival, morning and afternoon tea, lunch, and conference satchel.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be submitted to VMBSG in writing and received no later than Monday 28 September and a 75% refund will be issued. If the registrant is unable to attend another person may be substituted in their place, providing VMBSG are informed in writing as soon as possible. No refunds shall be issued after Thursday 28 October.

VMBSG Membership

As one of a number of member benefits, VMBSG members receive reduced registration fees for training opportunities, including our annual State Conference. If a delegate joins or renews their VMBSG membership at the time of registration, they are eligible for the member fee discount on Conference registration.
